  1. I like to read about both. Sometimes it gives a good story alone in the relationship

  2. I like to read about teens with a good relationship with their parents

  3. I enjoy both. It mixes things up that way.

  4. I enjoy it if it is written well. Too often I have found the teens portrayed are whiners and very rude to the parent and that just annoys me. I think there are ways to convey conflict without these stereotypes of the relationships.

  5. That's not really my thing to read about but I'm open to trying it! Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. Bad parents, because they tend to be their own person and rebel against their terrible parents. In real life, however, I have great parents.

  7. Thanks for all the comments so far! I have written books with many different types of parents. Usually somebody complains though. LOL. I have books where the parents are good and understanding and books where the parents are awful. Some books the parents are dead. Not all parents are bad. Some teens get along with their parents, but when I write a book, I have to choose, and that choice is hard!

  8. I don't care either way. I've read books with bad parents and ones with good.

  9. It depends on the book but really it doesn't matter to me either way. Thank you for the giveaway!

  10. Honestly, I find it refreshing to see a YA book where kids actually have a loving and respectful relationship! I get tired of all the same old, same old.

  11. Doesn't matter to me. Sometimes reading about bad relationships can have a really happy ending if they resolve their issues.
